Teach to registered resort guests or set up your own retreat!  Situated in the Maya mountains in the Cayo district, this cozy forest lodge also serves as a convenient base for visiting the various scenic and historical attractions of the area. A lazy float down the Macal River on a canoe trip is a peaceful way to observe the indigenous fauna, flora and bird watching. Horseback riding through the forest with a local Hispanic guides is a unique experience; mystical caves can be explored on foot, by canoe or tube whilst you step through a portal of San Ignacio towards major Maya sites.
